Sweet Blasphemy 10

The night of the talent show I gripped the top of my crusifix necklace tightly as Isaac and his new girlfriend, the fifth one he's had since we broke up, finished their performance.
I nodded at Andy next to the stereo. He put in the CD and I walked onto the dakr stage.

Andy watched Azaela wlak onto the stage until the darkness swallowed her up.
He smiled as the spotlight shone on her and pressed play. She raised the crusifix into the air.
His eyes widened in shock as she started to sing. Her voice was AMAZING, and her voice filled the auditorium, even after the nuns shut off the microphone.
"...That I won't believe this lie," she sang, holding the crusifix up higher, "I know there's something more inside," she pulled a lighter from her pocket and lit it, "When darkness is all you see," she moved it underneath the crusifix, "THIS IS OUR SWEET BLASPHEMY!" the flame ignited the bottom of the crusifix.
Andy watched in amazement as all the lights in the auditorium shut off, and the light from the flames illuminated Azaela through the darkness. His breath was taken away as her voice rang through the room, the crowd completely shocked silent.
"We are the unholy! We are the bastard children of your religious culture! Our minds, eyes, and bodies were born of your exclusion! An illusion you hide behind! You don't love a God, you love your comfort! To you we are filth, we are dirty, so be it! We are dirty and unclean, a congregation of the unseen! Together us outcasts will set this world on fire! We are the new religion! AMEN!" she held the crusifix up higher as the flames were almost to her hand.
Andy ran out onto the stage. He grabbed her by the sides of the head and kissed her, both of them illuminated by the light of the burning crusifix.
